Razor

Those of you who see me in person regularly know that I don’t shave very often. The reason for this is simple: I’m lazy, and I normally can’t be bothered to take the time.

When I was in college, I used to use an electric razor, but eventually I switched to “regular” razors, and finally ended up using the Mach 3 Turbo. The Mach 3 is a great razor, and I get a really good, close shave.

However, it’s too much of a bother to be getting out the saving cream—which always needs cleaning—applying it, shaving, and then cleaning up afterwards. So I’ve finally taken the plunge, and got another electric razor.

But if I’m getting a razor just to save time, I can’t get a regular razor, which I’d have to clean after using—that would defeat the purpose! So I got a Braun Activator. This baby is pretty sweet: When you’re done shaving, you just slide it into the base, and it cleans and charges it for you! You don’t even have to brush the stubble off the blades, with those little brushes that electric razors always come with.

Of course, I don’t think I’m going to get as good of a shave as I did with the Mach 3 razors. However, the fact that I’ll be able to shave every day, since it’s now so effortless, should make up for it.

I know, it's insanely expensive. Twice as much as other electric razors I've seen—but, on the other hand, it does twice as much as other razors, too...
